Welcome to Good Night Out bringing live performance to Oxfordshire’s rural areas. Village halls, community centres, schools and town halls throughout the county present some of the best professional entertainment on your doorstep, just for you, your family and friends. The venues that are part of the scheme receive a financial subsidy on the performer fees to make quality shows affordable. The venues are staffed by teams of dedicated volunteers who ensure a warm welcome. If you would like your village to join in please contact us via the button above.

In the What's On section you will find memorable theatre, stonking good folk, jazz and blues nights, classical music. Not forgetting comedy, family and children’s shows – there may even be some events that defy description.

Good Night Out is managed under contract by The Theatre Chipping Norton on behalf of the Oxfordshire Arts Partnership - a partnership of all the local authorities in Oxfordshire.

Good Night Out is one of many similar schemes in the UK that support professional arts in hundreds of small community venues, playing an important part in the social life and sustainability of their community.
